GoogleEarth Geography Project
Before we begin, I'd like you to take a tour of our world first. Leapfrog from North to South and East to West. Go down to street level and take a close look at places you've heard of. Go to a beach, an amusement park, a zoo, the capital, to an island, to Antarctica, find the North Pole, the Panama Canal. Look around this great big planet and see for yourself what's out there. Where will you go...?
Part I: Real City
Step One:
Open a Google Doc and title it: GoogleEarth Geography. This assignment will be completed in Times New Roman 12 pt. font and double spaced. You will use your document to record what you learn.

- Is it metropolitan or rural? Why?

- Is it metropolitan or rural? Why?

Presentation
Now you will create a Google Slide show presentation about what you have learned. Your presentation should be 10 slides in length. You will share your researched information verbally as well as the information you created. 8 slides to cover the researched information from your chosen actual city and the other 2 slides will feature your imaginary city and landmark.
This presentation is limited to a title on each slide. No words are allowed in the body of the slide unless they are on a picture of the location. You will be describing each slide, giving details about the location.
Rubric to be determined by each class consensus.
